Job Description:
- Be responsible for the software quality of the system, and actively work to automate the test whenever required.
- Designing test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures and executing tests on source code/builds.
- Analyzing test results and reporting to the development team.
- Working with cross-functional teams for ensuring quality throughout the SDLC and Flexibility and ability to plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate will be responsible for Manual, Functional and other types of Testing and reviewing requirements, creating, executing and documenting tests cases
- Implement, execute, support, and deliver accurate test results in a timely manner. Report and track bugs in Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with members of global teams involved in the projects.
- Troubleshoot and debug errors to identify the root cause and coordinate with respective teams for fixing and re-testing.
- Assist in test case writing for automation suite and execution of automated test suite.
- Candidate should be willing to contribute to the automation development of testing projects. This will form approx. 15-25% of the overall profile.
- Flexible to learn new processes/technologies as per the team needs expansion.
Qualification:
B.E or B.Tech/M.E or M.Tech
Automotive domain Experience
- Experience in Automotive software testing
- AUTOSAR/QNX Platform Level Qualification Testing experience is required
- Good knowledge of working on Serial Logs
- Testing knowledge in Instrument Cluster System
- Hands-on with SCM – GIT, RTC, ClearCase tools, CaNalyzer and CANoe
- Experience in writing test plans for features from scratch and defining KPIs for the same
- Awareness of Agile/SCRUM terminologies
- Automotive knowledge, awareness of Android Infotainment Features and testing
- CAN, (Diagnostics & LIN protocol awareness would be an added advantage)
- Experience in Python/ any other scripting language for the automaton is a plus
- Capable of handling multiple projects initiatives simultaneously and executing them to completion
- Proven team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who can effectively work with all levels of a global matrixed organization
